The Red to Black Ball scheme is a highly renowned training schedule that allows players to develop their Snooker skills at various levels.
This not only covers the practical side of playing a specific shot, but also match play, and by answering written questions on the knowledge of the game.
As a player progresses through the colours, the tasks and questions get harder and harder, until the black ball award when they are at their hardest. A player must first pass the Basic Cue Sports Certificate in order to be considered for the Red Ball Award.
